I began my legal career in the field of criminal law and personal injury litigation in downstate New York.

I carried these skills with me back to the capital region while adding bankruptcy, real estate and some trusts and estates skills to my repertoire. This gave me my first experience with representing both buyers and sellers in residential real estate. I really enjoyed working with real estate clients and dealing with their concerns and any issues that arose. I then took the opportunity to focus in the area of residential real estate representing buyers, sellers and lenders. A majority of my time was spent representing lender’s, which gave me the opportunity to experience the residential real estate closing from multiple points of view. This also gave me the opportunity to act as title examiner and settlement agent on hundreds of residential real estate closings.

This is where I learned the importance of communication with all parties involved in a real estate transaction. I understand that purchasing or selling a home is one of the largest financial transactions that someone will make in their life and that there can be many questions and concerns when going through that process. That is why I make myself available to clients and referral sources at all times. I will always do my best to answer all questions while being honest and keeping my client’s best interests in mind. I believe in being timely and thorough in my responses to any concerns of my client.

Beyond just the purchase of residences, I also have experience dealing in commercial and investment properties. Keeping current with local laws, ordinances, zoning matters and other issues even the savviest if investors may not be aware of, is why I believe our Firm can be vital to any person or entity purchasing or selling real estate.

Our firm is authorized to act as settlement agent for many mortgage lenders which allows us “bundle representation fees when acting as settlement agent on behalf of a purchase client’s transaction. This also allows us to simplify the closing process. We also operate a full-service title insurance and abstracting company, operating as PAC Abstract and Title Services LLC (an agency of Old Republic Title Insurance Company).

Our firm has a team of paralegals dedicated to strictly real-estate work and we pride ourselves on “out working” our competition.
