Mr. Kelleher was born and raised in Troy, NY. He is a graduate of Lansingburg High School, State University at Albany and Albany Law School.
For the first 20 years of his career, he was engaged in the general practice of law. The last 20 years his practice has for the most part been concentrated in the area of real estate, both residential and commercial, and mortgage banking. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association as well as the Albany County Bar Association. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Hudson Mohawk Recovery Center and was its president for two years. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers/Big Sisters. He served in the United States Navy. He lectured in the past on New York Lien Law and currently lectures real estate agents on contract issues related to real estate transactions.
