I joined Caridi Payne & Associates LLC as “of counsel” in August 2023. My practice is primarily focused on transactional real estate and title matters, and I routinely represent purchasers, sellers, wholesalers, and lenders in residential and commercial real estate transactions, including transactions involving an assignment of contract. I also practice in the related areas of estate planning (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies), corporate formation, and guardianships.

My upstate New York roots run deep, and few things make me happier than working on behalf of a client purchasing an older home to restore, or a client who is building a home on a parcel that has a unique history. I enjoy all aspects of a real estate matter, from counseling clients on the financial and contractual issues involved, to reviewing the “chain of title,” which documents the history of a particular property (this can be a “field day” for a history major).

After graduating from Union College and Albany Law School, I served several years in the legislative/governmental arena before transitioning to private practice in 2018. Immediately prior to joining Caridi Payne, I practiced as an associate with an established local high-volume real estate law firm and became involved in the local Bar. I continue to serve as co-chair of the of the Schenectady County Bar Association’s Real Estate Committee, and am also on the board of two local not-for-profit organizations.
